Eng Choon Tan
Eng Choon has over 20 years experience in internal and external auditing, financial management and business process consulting. Prior to establishing the Firm, he was the Senior Manager of the Global Risk Management Solutions (GRMS) Division in PricewaterhouseCoopers Shanghai. He was one of the pioneers of GRMS that helped to expand the growth of this department and assisted in developing a few successful products/services for the China market.
Eng Choon has advised many MNC planning to invest or investing in China on issues such as local regulations compliance, internal controls / corporate governance, merger and acquisition deal issues, Sarbanes Oxley S404 etc.
Eng Choon holds a Bachelor degree in Accountancy and is a Malaysian CPA and member of Associations of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He is also the chartered member of the Institute of Internal Auditors– Malaysia chapter. He started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia before moving to China in in 1998.
He can speak fluent Mandarin, English and Cantonese.
Bryan has over 17 years working experience in Financing, Tax Advisory, Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Management.
Before setting up Twinsource Financial Consulting, Bryan has served in many multi-national Corporations (MNCs), such as Carrefour (China) HQ, Inbev (China) HQ, Metro (China) HQ, holding senior position in finance and tax department.
Bryan has advised and assisted many MNCs in China on issues such as tax advisory and negotiations, financing structuring and execution, acquisitions and disposals, etc.
Bryan holds Bachelor degree in International Accounting. He also completed his MBA awarded by ENPC, France.
He can speak fluent Mandarin, English and Shanghainese.
Liu Ruxin (KK)
Senior Manager – FAAS
Liu Ruxin has over 10 years of working experience in auditing, internal controls, and compliance advisory. She is responsible for managing various projects including internal audit , internal controls review, development of standard operating procedures (SOP), Sarbanes Oxley advisory, financial due diligence and special projects in the financial and compliance areas.
Prior to joining Sapience-Partners, she worked with a local CPA and valuation firm in Shanghai.
KK graduated from Shanghai Normal University majoring in Financial Management. KK is also a Certified Internal Auditor and an ACCA member.
She has good command of Mandarin, English and local Shanghai dialect.
Manager – OBAS
Joshua is the Manager responsible for Outsourcing service with over 6 years of working experience in tax, accounting, audit, accounting processes and regulatory compliance. He is responsible for development of accounting SOP, financial consulting, tax consulting, corporate compliance, expenses verification, secondment (including PEO service) and special projects in financial and compliance areas.
Prior to joining Sapience Partners, he worked with a French consulting firm for accounting process optimization and he also worked with a local consulting firm for development of accounting SOP and other special projects
Joshua graduated from SEGi University Malaysia majoring in Accountancy and is an MBA holder from University of Sunshine Coast (Australia) and Associate Member of Association of International Accountants
He has good command of Mandarin and English.
Mickael Driol Lawrence
Head of CoSec & Business Development
Since his first step in China in 2010, Mickael have founded 3 companies and developed new projects for government and private sectors. He has monitored and supervised regional managers and offshore consultants, and driven the organization’s overall to-market strategy. Translating business-objectives strategies into brand portfolio objectives, plans, and strategies of enhanced growth of business unit. Mickael led 2 of his companies to successful acquisition in 2015 and negotiated key-investment transaction with Chinese Business firms.
At Sapience Partners, Mickael is managing and advising foreign companies on corporate strategies and solutions for investment, entry, growth and expansion in the Chinese market. Participate in the development of the region’s strategies and policies and see to its implementation in accordance with the company’s strategic corporate objectives and vision.
Mickael executes the formation and administration of Foreign Investments Enterprises and Ventures on activities such as : J/V, M&A, WFOE, FICE, Rep. Offices, Strategic Licensing and Alliances deals (J/V to IPO) via our Malaysian partner, Equity Participation, Company Restructuring and Direct/Indirect Market Entry and Growth Strategies and relationship building with local agent and distribution companies.
Mickael speaks French and English.
